Gender and Decision-Making : a case study of the republic of the Sudan (2008)

The study was published in preparation for the Arab Women Development Report on “Arab Women and Decision- Making”. The publication consists of a qualitative/quantitative study based on the analysis of the content of interviews with 13 women and men who held leadership positions in various areas to monitor practices of decision-making in both public and private spheres. The publication also contains an analysis of discussions within workshops gathering ordinary women to see the dynamics of decision-making at the family level and in their every-day work.

The publication received support from the world Bank and United Nations Population Fund and was published in collaboration with the Foundation for Studies, publishing an distribution “Majd”.
