Abstract
the objective of the report is the Creation of an enabling environment for the promotion of female entrepreneurship and the integration of women in the business and trade markets in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco and in Tunisia. Creating an enabling environment first meant the need to produce knowledge on women and men in business from a gender analysis perspective that includes SME profiling and mapping of key players from at least three selected sectors, namely agriculture, light industries and services
