Women’s rights protection instruments ratified by Djibouti

Abstract
This paper presents an article on the rights of women protection instruments ratified by Djibouti. Indeed, Djibouti has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the Protocol to the African Charter on Human Rights and Peoples relating to women's rights in Africa (Maputo Protocol), but the state still has not ratified the optional Protocol to CEDAW. This article presents some progress and shows that discrimination and violence persist in law and in practice
