Technical guidelines for the consolidated appeals process

Abstract
The Technical Guidelines for the consolidated appeals process (CAP) aim to help CAP Country Teams produce a high-quality document. They provide practical guidance on: organisation of the Appeal document; Procedures for finalising and launching the Appeals; Text formatting//The timetable for CAP//CHAP preparation//Revisions to the Appeal The Appeal document, however, can only be as good as the process behind it. Therefore, the Technical Guidelines should be read in supplement to the 1994 IASC Approved Guidelines on the CAP, which outline the policy framework for the Consolidated Appeals Process.
